Smart planning and reworking of interior structures created an open-plan kitchen within the central hub of the home. It was designed to accommodate a large preparation worktop with an abundance of drawer storage that worked as a casual breakfast bar, and also opened out onto the new outdoor entertaining area.
This architecturally designed kitchen was a collaboration between Carpentech and the home builder, Eco-Logical Building, to create a compact kitchen that offers easy access to the most-used features.
A clean colour scheme reflected the plentiful natural light via a large window located at one end of the kitchen. This also allowed views of the sparkling pool from the kitchen area. In the evening, the multicolour LED lighting under the breakfast bar mirrored that of the lighting installed around the pool area, an interesting concept to connect the two areas.
After the removal of two main walls, there were several rooms that needed to be moved around, including the original kitchen, which was shifted out of its separate-room location and into the existing lounge. The old kitchen area was then transformed into a study.
