The neutral colour palette calmly contrasts with the home’s floorboards, further enhanced by the built-in Corian dining table in Natural Grey. As if to ‘frame’ the entire wall of cabinetry and kitchen appliances, a feature contrasting bulkhead in Black Wenge surrounds the rear workstation.
A flawless, clean and light style was achieved through the use of high-gloss lacquered cabinetry with flat doors and drawers, topped with engineered stone in Silver Star. A neutral glass splashback lines the rear wall behind the cooktop and is repeated along the front side of the island bench, effortlessly tying the kitchen together.
Light and airy, the area is thick with white and highlights of dark wood via the flooring, emulating a vintage and modern-American take on old-English country style. The subtle placement of powdery blue artwork on the walls is an intentional yet subtle ode to a true Hamptons colour palette, finishing the kitchen to perfection.
Hand-painted Shaker-style cabinet doors and drawers with overhead, glass-panelled cabinetry radiate the unmistakable Hamptons style, further enhanced by the underbench corbels supporting the honed Quartz benchtops. Pendant lighting over the island bench provides a seamless connection with the nearby Hamptons-style dining table, replicated with the same corbels and light fittings.
